Report a chart
Charts published with SCImago Graphica are made by their authors, not by us. If you think a published chart is illegal or breaks our terms, tell us by email and we will look into it.
You are reporting the chart at .
"Email us" opens your email program with a message ready to fill in. If nothing opens, copy the address and write to us from any email account.
What you can report
- Content that is illegal, or that infringes someone's rights (copyright, trademark, privacy, image rights, confidentiality).
- Personal data about you or other people published without a lawful basis, or sensitive personal data about identifiable people.
- A chart that impersonates a person or organisation, or misleads about its source.
- Spam, scams, malware or links to them.
- Harassment, threats, or incitement to violence or hatred.
Disagreeing with a chart's data or conclusions is not a reason to report it. If a chart is simply wrong, you may want to contact its author instead.
What to include
So that we can act on your report, the EU Digital Services Act asks for four things:
- The chart's address. The link to the chart (it looks like
https://gphcdn.net/…/). If you found it embedded on another website, the address of that page helps too. - What is wrong with it. Which part of the chart or its data is the problem, and why you believe it is illegal or breaks our terms.
- Your name and email address. We use them to confirm we received your report and to tell you what we decided. If you are reporting an offence against yourself, such as the publication of your own personal data, you may leave your name out.
- A statement of good faith. That you believe the information in your report is accurate and complete.
The "Email us" button above prepares a message with these points for you to fill in.
What happens next
- We confirm by email that we received your report, normally within a few days.
- We review the chart and its data, carefully and without automated decision-making.
- We tell you our decision by email. If we remove the chart, its address and any embeds show a neutral "no longer available" page from that moment.
- The chart's author is told in the app, the next time they sign in, that the chart was removed and why, but not who reported it (we never have authors' email addresses). The author can ask us to review the decision, and so can you if you disagree with it.
We may also remove content without a report when we become aware of a breach, and we comply with lawful orders from courts and authorities.
Authorities and formal notices
The same address, support@graphica.app, is our single point of contact under the Digital Services Act (Regulation (EU) 2022/2065, articles 11 and 12) for authorities, for the people who use the service and for anyone else. You can write to us in English or Spanish.
Your data
Your report stays in our mailbox, where only we can read it, for six months after we have resolved it; then we delete it. The record of what was decided about a chart, and why, is kept without your personal data. See the privacy policy.
